About A. Unda-Tames

After more than twenty years in theatre as an actor, director, producer, and playwright, A. Unda-Tames (Aggie) turned her lifelong love of storytelling toward the page—creating immersive worlds filled with unforgettable characters, buried secrets, dangerous attraction, and emotional journeys.

She is currently writing The Iris Monroe Series, a romantic suspense series set against the hidden beauty of Mexico City, where desire complicates the truth, old secrets refuse to stay buried, and danger often hides in plain sight. Inspired by the city's architecture, cafés, flower shops, and vibrant neighborhoods, the series blends atmospheric suspense, slow-burn romance, morally complicated characters, and the enduring power of found family.

Aggie also writes the Dark Veil Series, where passion, danger, and moral complexity intertwine in emotionally charged dark romances. Her stories explore love, transformation, and the choices that define us, always leading readers toward a hard-won happily ever after.

Beyond adult fiction, she is the creator of the Risho & Kaia middle-grade adventure series, inspired by her son's journey on the autism spectrum. The Seed of Imagination, the first book in the series, was selected as a PepsiCo EnAble × Adelante Book Club Pick for its message that every mind holds its own unique superpower.

When she isn't writing, Aggie enjoys reading, watching classic films, dancing, exploring beautiful places, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
